We are currently recruiting for a Computed Tomography Technologist at Madigan Army Medical Center in WA.
Key Responsibilities:
The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) is a specialized medical imaging professional who operates advanced computerized X-Ray equipment to produce detailed, cross-sectional scans of the human body.
- The CT Technologist shall perform comprehensive quality assurance review of all acquired ultrasound images to include preliminary findings for submission to the radiologist for interpretation.
- They shall perform all associated administrative duties contributing to positive outcomes in patient care to include, advanced computer knowledge, receptionist, scheduling, proficient in all documentation, and record maintenance to ensure accuracy and patient confidentiality, HIPPA, and TJC requirements.
- The CT Technologist shall provide a variety of sonographic examinations to a patient population that ranges from infant to geriatric.
- They will assist with training of students, technologists, military personnel, and radiology residents in the principles, techniques, and protocols of ultrasound.
- The Ct Technologist will prepare all documentation to meet established standards of the MTF to include but not limited to timeliness, legibility accuracy, content and signature.
Qualifications:
- Be a graduate from an academic program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiology Technology (JRCERT).
- Valid, current unrestricted U.S. national certification of radiological technologist and state license. Registered technologist (R.T.) with the American Registry of radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
- A minimum of 2 years of current experience within the past 36 months.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications, including word, excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication in English.
- Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
