Nurse Case Manager

1. Nurse Case Manager shall participate in critical incident response if qualified to do so and
will ensure that traumatic event management ("Traumatic Event Management") and critical incident
stress intervention ("Critical Incident Stress Intervention") services are provided as appropriate.

2. Nurse Case Manager may be assigned various shifts per rotation to provide workplace on-site
services. If requested by a Command, Nurse Case Manager may need to vary his/her functions to meet
unique structural or service needs. Such assignments may be ongoing or temporary, depending on need.
COR approval or decision 1s required, along with the concurrence of the Company when requests for
variations in services or additional after-hours services are received, when there is concern about
shift rotations, and other schedule concerns exist that are not reasonably resolved.

3. When the Nurse Case Manager identifies complex problems requiring consultation with a Commander to
resolve, they will first inform the COR (through the Senior Nurse Case Manager and Director of
Psychological Health - Team Lead) for the COR's decision as to whether or not Reserve Component
national issues are involved, and to arrange appropriate involvement of the Reserve Component or other
appropriate Government personnel to ensure that national implications are incorporated into the
consultation.

4. Upon request or upon approval by a Commander, when the Nurse Case Manager identifies issues or
problems negatively affecting the Reserve Component, they will investigate the circumstances,
events, underlying psychological factors, patterns, and other matters associated with the problem,
e.g. suicides. Nurse Case Manager, in such a case, will analyze all available information and make
recommendations to the Commander to prevent or mitigate future problems.

5. The Company will, in consultation with the COR, assign on a rotational basis a Nurse Case Manager,
if selected, to a Reserve Component Psychological Health Steering Committee. Each of the Readiness
Divisions are to be represented on each Steering Committee. The purpose of this committee is to
share information and best practices across the Reserve Component, and to advise regarding
communications and consultation with senior leadership at the national level to guide and promote
achievement of Reserve Component and Psychological Health Program objectives. The Contractor will
plan for means of communication among steering committee members and organize meetings at least
annually, in conjunction with other events when feasible.

6. Nurse Case Manager may work in a private practice on a part-time basis if approved in advance by
the COR and the Company.
