We are currently recruiting for an Audiology Technician

Key Responsibilities: 

The Audiology Technician will provide a full range of audiology support services to beneficiaries in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and within the scope of responsibilities designated by the Military Treatment Facility (MTF). Services must align with professional standards, ethical guidelines, and all applicable regulations. 

  • Assist in conducting hearing evaluations and audiometric screenings. 

  • Perform routine hearing conservation procedures and support occupational hearing conservation programs. 

  • Prepare test equipment, calibrate devices, and ensure proper sanitation and readiness in clinical areas. 

  • Educate patients on hearing protection, device care, and follow‑up instructions. 

  • Support audiologists during patient assessments and treatment sessions. 

  • Document patient encounters and audiometric results accurately and on time following AR 40‑66 and MTF standards. 

  • Manage and maintain hearing conservation documentation and tracking systems. 

  • Assist with fitting, maintenance, and minor repairs of hearing protection devices. 

  • Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure efficient clinic workflow. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Must have a certificate showing formal training related to audiology or hearing conservation. 

  • Must have completed a hearing conservation course or received approved training through the Army, Navy, or Air Force hearing programs. 

  • Only these specific education paths are accepted—no substitutions or equivalency requests allowed. 

  • Must have at least one year of full‑time Audiology Technician experience within the last two years to ensure recent, hands‑on knowledge of hearing testing and clinic procedures.
