We are currently recruiting for a full-time Assistant Program Manager to support WJM Professional Services corporate office.

The Assistant Program Manager (APM) provides direct support to the Program Manager and serves as the acting PM during absences. The APM ensures continuity of operations and compliance with all contractual requirements, while maintaining direct communication with government stakeholders as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

The Assistant Program Manager’s responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Act as the Program Manager in their absence, assuming full authority and responsibility for contract performance.
  • Assist the PM in supervising and directing contract staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Support the preparation of reports, deliverables, and communications to government officials.
  • Assist in monitoring schedules, staffing, performance metrics, and compliance activities.
  • Participate in meetings with government representatives and provide timely follow-up on action items.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide input on risk management, quality assurance, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Promote adherence to company policies, procedures, and values.

 

Qualifications:

The Assistant Program Manager shall have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,  Healthcare Management, Health Services Administration, Healthcare Resources Administration, Marketing, or related field that demonstrates the ability to fulfill the requirements of the Contract
  • Preference: Master's, Degree, and Project Management Certification.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing multi-disciplinary, multi-site healthcare staffing services and government contracts,
  • Have a working knowledge and understanding of government healthcare contracting.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a workforce of 200 or more employees.
  • Strong knowledge of federal contracting regulations and compliance frameworks.
  • The ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Be able to start immediately.
  • Strong understanding of contract compliance, staffing, and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to step into a leadership role quickly and effectively.
  • Successfully pass the WJM background and credentialing process.
