We are currently recruiting for a Nurse Case Manager to support the Psychological Health Program (PHP) at the US Army Reserve in Ft. Liberty. 

Key Responsibilities: 

The Nurse Case Manager will provide comprehensive case management, consultation, and support services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the requirements outlined by the Military Treatment Facility (MTF) or Command. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Participate in critical incident response when qualified, including providing Traumatic Event Management (TEM) and Critical Incident Stress Intervention (CISI). 

  • Work rotational shifts and provide on‑site workplace services as assigned. 

  • Adjust duties as needed to meet unique Command requirements, with COR and Company approval. 

  • Elevate complex issues to the COR through the required chain (Senior Nurse Case Manager and Director of Psychological Health – Team Lead) for Commander consultation. 

  • Investigate issues affecting the Reserve Component—such as suicides—analyze findings and provide recommendations to leadership. 

  • Serve on the Reserve Component Psychological Health Steering Committee on a rotational basis, participate in communication activities, and attend required meetings. 

  • May participate in part‑time private practice with prior COR and Company approval. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Qualified to participate in critical incident response (TEM and CISI). 

  • Able to work rotating shifts and provide on‑site services. 

  • Able to adjust job duties based on Command needs. 

  • Able to identify and escalate complex issues through the required communication chain. 

  • Able to investigate and analyze cases affecting the Reserve Component and provide recommendations. 

  • Eligible to serve on the Psychological Health Steering Committee and participate in scheduled meetings. 

  • Eligible to engage in approved part‑time private practice. 

  • Must be able to pass the WJM and USAR criminal background check.
